2009

Another slow start to 2009 since one of our Sops had a baby in March this year and has (obviously) not been able to sing for some time so we have not been actively looking for concerts, but have been adding to repertoire again. One Alto has taken her part for a while but she has now come back to sing with us again. We sung at three events this year:

Saturday May 23rd, 7.30pm - St Peter & St Paul, Great Missenden.

Supporting the Chess Valley Male Voice Choir.

This is a new relationship and we worked on "showcasing" some of our pieces.

September Wedding

We met again for a Wedding at St Mary's Church in Chesham on September 12th.
We have a guest Sop, Susanna, this time since Cleone was away.

We Sang - "Laudate", "Only You" (Flying Pickets), "Can't buy me Love" (Beatles), "You are the New Day" (Airwaves) and "I only have eyes for you!!"

December 12th - Newton Longville. Private event.

Final event of the year - After Dinner Entertainment at the Annual Wine tasting festival.

Good audience who wanted more - and we got a really nice dinner too!!!
